Hi
I'm using OCAD 9 to plan a mass start sprint event. I want to use several loops to split competitors up.
I think the best way to do this is to use a single person relay, then insert "Leg Variations", swapping the controls around in the different variations.
Is this the best way?
Why don't I get sensible course lengths when I do this?
The Base Map is 1:2500, the Options|Map Scale on the course setting is set to 1:2500, but the course seems to calculate as too long.
Any advice gladly received.
Thanks

I suspect you may have opened your planning file at 1:10000. Are courses 4 times too long? I'm afraid I don't know the smart way of sorting it and just divide by 4

Both base map and planning file show 1:2500.

Is it a new map?
We got a map supplied this year (I wont say where from) where the scale was off by a factor of about 40% even though the scale on the file was right. I only realised when I planned some course on condes and they seemed unfeasably long.
I couldnt fathom it but our inhouse ocad expert sorted it.

Scale seems correct.
My real problem is how to get the variations to work.
Do I just have to create them manually?
