Sunday November 17
3 events (WSX, BADO, SO) all within reasonable distance of each other, all with pre entries of less or just over 100, all on good areas and yet no event (due to cancellation) the following week (23rd).

The problem is that SCOA is a long, thin region so the SEOA, SCOA and SWOA regional fixtures secretaries probably need to coordinate better for Level C events.
There may well have been more SCOA people at SN's Frith Hill event today than at SARUM's SCOA League event.

Closure of A34 that weekend may also be a factor, particularly for the BADO event.

Re: Sunday November 17
BADO have worked hard updating the Pamber & Silchester map with the daily creation of new semi-open by EuroForest!!
Come for a good trash through the deciduous forest, across the marshes and round Silchester Common.
Only A34 southbound is closed, so a little practice navigation will get you there.
Or skip the jam and come to the night event event at Beggarwood (SW Basingstoke) on Saturday night!!
Final details attached.

Same thing again. Yesterday there were three Level C events (MV, BADO, WSX) within about 40 miles of us. Next Sunday - nothing within 100 miles.

It is, therefore, a shame we went to 4 levels of events, if it was still 3 levels they would have been level 2 and deconflicted.
hop fat boy, hop!

Re: Sunday November 17
Clubs might be more reluctant to put on big (level C + ) events 1 week before the JK and the same weekend as the London Marathon. Saxons at Blean has only 17 entries.
Mind you the following weekend there is only 1 event in the whole of England and none in Scotland.

Not on Saturday 19th.
Blean entries have shot up to 21.
Please do think about Blean (near Canterbury) this Sunday. Travel time is less than it looks as there is motorway almost all the way from the M25. It's a beautiful woodland on a hill overlooking the countryside and sea, it has some good technical bits and a nice valley. You can visit the seaside or Canterbury afterwards. Alternatively the parking is at Mount Ephraim gardens which has a nice tea room (only one supplier, but no burgers
