No*. Course length and age don't come into it.
You'll only be more likely to get more points if the people you run against are overrated. As Eddie says, older people were (on average) overrated when the system was set up, and this bias is still working out. Since the ranking is averaged over a year, anyone who is improving rapidly will also be underrated.
If you want more points, you need to run well!
* Unless by "fast" you mean "better at racing short distances than long distances".
