Scotland won the SHIs by a very narrow margin (2 points) after a recount. The races over the weekend were held in cloudy Ireland.
That makes it about 7 or 8 wins out of last 8 or 9 events for the Scots. Will next year bring anything different? Races will be: individual in Balmoral (new forested area), relay Forvie - open sand-dunes.

The total is therefore 19 to England, 9 to Scotland.

England most recently won in 2010 and before that in 2007. Scotland only won once between 1986 and 2003.
