Mrs H wrote:OK the email has arrived and apparently we all need the president of our 'club" to sign a declaration that we are all members of the national federation - how can this be easily accomplished when most of us entered under fictitious clubs which are not registered with the national federation?

In order to be allowed to participate in ROMe2013 competition
1. All athlete members of non-Italian Orienteering Clubs (1 document for each member)
must provide an original medical certificate on the attached form stating that the athlete’s health and physical condition are such as to permit running at a competitive / non competitive level. Medical certificates issued on forms other than the attached ones will not be accepted. The certificate duly signed and stamped shall be anticipated by mail to docs@rome2013.net by Saturday 26th Oct and delivered in original to the event center between 12:00 and 15:00 on Friday 1st Nov. Please use attachments n.1 (competitive classes) and n.2 (non competitive classes)
2. All non-Italian Orienteering Clubs (1 document for each club)
must provide the declaration of membership to Orienteering Club and to a National Federation signed and stamped by the Club’s President. The declaration will be filled in by the ROMe Organization based on the entries received and can be downloaded following informations contained in attachment n.3. The Declaration duly signed and stamped by the Club’s President must be returned by mail to docs@rome2013.net by Saturday 26th Oct and delivered in original to the event center between 12:00 and 15:00 on Friday 1st Nov. Please see Attachment 3.
ITALIAN LAW IS VERY STRICT ON MATTERS OF HEALTH AND THEREFORE THE ORGANIZATION CANNOT ALLOW PARTICIPATION WITHOUT THE REQUIRED CERTIFICATION.
In case you realize you can't provide such documentation and would like to cancel your entry, the operation is for free (and everything already paid would be refunded) if performed by Sunday 13th Oct: you can proceed by yourself in OriEns using login/password (if you haven't generated a receipt, yet) or request cancellation to the entry service by email to entries@rome2013.net.
Thanks for understanding and for your cooperation in this

Can you please confirm that signature by the person who "registered" the "club" is acceptable; I think that was what you originally suggested.
Also, what is the "Federal Code" ? My guess is that this is the club id number, in countries where such a thing exists, but might it be the country code e.g. GBR?
Thanks.
(writing and posting this crossed Mike's response to Mrs H in the ether, so who to sign part is covered by Mike's reply above. Still not sure about Federal Code)
