Mrs H you have to be stylish in rome(no problem for you I'm sure), it is pretty much the law! Don't underestimate the importance of: "fare la bella figura"

I'd refer Villa Borghese in the afternoon - daytime so we can see the delights, statues etc... as not a fan of night events. So 2pm starts sounds better.

A Taxi from the rank outside is 48 euros (by law) and you should easily make a lateish start. I recommend you drop an email to info@rome2013.net and let them know your flight time and ask for a late start at Villa B.

We don't have big enough sewers for mini coopers!

Cheap rate entries for the Rome 3 Days in November will finish 15 Sept as indicated on the website.

After this first closing date it will still be possible to enter up to the 13 Oct but at an increased fee (10 Euros for senior, 7 for other classes)

At the moment we have 280+ entries from 86 clubs in 20 countries. I note this includes many of you nopers too

over 300 and climbing now

H21K is Short, I don't know why it is K and not C (since "corto" means short), but I suspect it is so it doesn't look like it is easier than H21B.

Incidently "K" isn't included when kids learn the alphabet in Italy (or Ticino where we lived) so my kid (aged 9) was shouted at for being "stupid" by a supply teach when he returned to Sheffield for answering that the next letter after "I" was "L" (since J isn't in it either).

My name was a pain to spell out to people since none of K, W nor Y are in the standard alphabet, Y has 2 alternative names when used, W is mostly used for www so has been recently shortened to "vu" and "E" is pronounced "Ay"

That individual has now received a reply from the hotel, which included "Sorry for the delay of this answer I was out of the office and we have few problems with our e mail system."

For info, I have just seen a note saying that a cap on entries might be have to be put in place - if you are still intending to enter ROME 2013 then I would advise against being too lastminute.com with your entry as you may find yourself missing out.

I would like to stress that the entry cap proposal will not affect anyone already enterered.
