MTBO World Champs

We're writing the reports each evening and sending them to both BO and BMBO, but we're doing this all from phones so not the easiest sending links, photos, results etc. Looks like no-one is reading/editing the reports before posting them. Long race tomorrow with Em in women's, Andy in men's and Edwyn in junior men's.

You keep trying -there is always the possibility that there will be someone to repost - you might try posting onto the British Orienteering Facebook Page -that should be mobile friendly (and there is always the possibility of one of us copying it onto here)

I thought that BOF was setting up more people able to post on the web site. It would make sense to send the reports to someone in the uk who understood MTBO who would then edit them and post them. (Don't assume that just because people work for BOF that they understand orienteering.)

Agreed, but you'd expect someone to check the report, it looks like it was written on Monday, the sprint day, and very well written by the way, announcing the middle race - tomorrow - being Tuesday, but did not get posted until Wednesday by which time Emily b had already won her medal. Just laziness! I'm sure we all know plenty of people in a work environment that simply click the "forward" button on emails they receive without actually reading them, classic example here.

Anyways, EB going well thru the first spectator control at the moment on the long.

And neither should you assume that everything that is done by BOF is done by people who "work" for BOF. There's a lot of hard pressed volunteers out there too!

Perhaps you should check facts before being so critical? Have you evidence you could share to support this claim of "laziness"?

Well if you followed this thread, read the reports on the BO website and checked the dates they were posted, and by who, you don't need to be Sherlock Holmes to work it out!
