That sounds a ridiculous rate of DSQ there is a note on the website that I can see
who'd be an official
"These are the official results after the marshals from the field reported a number of riders who entered the forbidden area marked in the city center. Prize giving is planned for 6 pm. The organisers are working with the teams of the affected riders to handle any possible complaint. All other complaint that do not affect top 6 positions, can be submitted to the organisers before the Team Officials Meeting starting at 7pm."

Possibly the slowest Orienteer in the NE but maybe above average at 114kg

Re: MTBO World Champs
It looks as though Emily would have been 3rd. From the gps it did appear she went OOB, but then again the gps wasn't that reliable on some other parts of the course.

Re: MTBO World Champs
good to see BO news page upto date at the World MTBO champs, declaring the middle race is tomorrow when it was yesterday and Emily B won Silver
not to difficult to get the facts straight before posting the news item!!! plus no web link on the news item to send you to the home page for World MTBO, relay tomorrow, long Sat

Re: MTBO World Champs
It's now the second news item, the first item now makes mention of the middle distance race yesterday, but the original news item has not been re-edited, seems BO are a day behind

Re: MTBO World Champs
We're writing the reports each evening and sending them to both BO and BMBO, but we're doing this all from phones so not the easiest sending links, photos, results etc. Looks like no-one is reading/editing the reports before posting them. Long race tomorrow with Em in women's, Andy in men's and Edwyn in junior men's.
