If anyone is there, then a photo of the elite results would be nice

Re: Needed for Moray 2013 - Results
I am certain that there will be some frantic work going on behind the scenes by some extremely dedicated volunteers who have my sympathy. I'm trying to get something out for the local press with a deadline 1st thing Monday and hope the guys can get something up by 8am.

Yes, it was a horrible day to have been an Organiser, helper, or indeed anything else that involved standing in assembly all day getting soaked. Thanks!
Day 1 results are on the 6 Days page now.

Just for Sookster....
Have just seen the latest edition of SCORE. After the last edition I would have said (did say) ditch it.... after this one... keep it. An excellent publication - uptodate with previews of happenings and not reviews of long past news

Could one of the dedicated volunteers press a button to upload the provisional results - is it so much harder than printing and pasting them up at the event?
To oblivion and beyond....

I'm told the results actually went online last night an hour and a half after they were handed to the uploader.. Perhaps the internets are slow up here

Information is king
Please can we have some information?
The programme says “Results: On display in assembly and regularly updated on the web. Wi-fi available in the assembly courtesy of SPORTident”. This to me implies some sort of live results service. This is clearly a wrong implication; it would be great if the Scottish 6-day site provided a realistic expectation ; there must be hundreds of people who have been regularly checking to see if the results are up over the last few hours and there is nothing: no results, no information.
Information: Please put something up there. Maybe something like : ”Our target is to get the day's results up by 20:00 in the evening. If this target is not going to be met a new estimated time will be shown on the website.”
Information: When there is a good technical explanation, please provide it. My understanding is that yesterdays results were delayed as many times had to be adjusted due to a problem at the white/green start; but I have only heard that by word-of-mouth, I can see no information on the website to explain why some people's times have been reduced by a few seconds.

From what I have heard, there are only going to be live results to the web for Euromeeting races.

This is also my understanding, there was a unit which was actually a 'start' used instead of a 'check', so lots of people essentially had their time started when they punched the check box.
