There are no start times on the start lists and you can just go to the start when it suits you.
Mind you - if all the competitors on Green & Light Green turn up at the same time some will have a long wait!

Is there any chance of getting this info on the front page of the website please? At the moment it's buried away in the introduction on the campsite page. I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday who was planning to "roll-up" for a couple of nights camping but I was able to advise him of the status only because I saw it here on Nopesport.

Which is exactly what I did at Oban, and is why I put up the comment. I don't have anything to do with the camp site but I've e-mailed the Moray 2013 website content manager with your comment. I'm sure she will action toute de suite.
There is a camp site across the road from Brodie Castle he could try http://www.theoldmillbrodie.com/

Re: Moray 2013
Hopefully someone can help, I am looking for 1 nights accommodation for me and two 14 year olds for the Saturday night at the end of the week (3rd August). If all else fails, we'll be in the Premier Inn in Inverness, but if there's any other opportunities, we'd be grateful (the 14 year olds are well behaved!!)...
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Moray 2013
I have been around most of the assembly areas in the last few days and can report the grass is nice and short in the assembly fields (but a few cow pats for Day 4). This is the VIP day with some announcements about Highland 2015 including WOC. Visitors were advised to bring their wellies. We have some fantastic surprises lined up - not sure if I can match the walking on water that happened at Oban 2011 but you can be the judge of this. Forests are currently very dry with a high fire risk - please don't even think about smoking or lighting fires and take care with anything e.g. glass bottles that might focus the sun's rays. Magnifiers on compasses have been known to do this.

That's optimistic Freefall - the weather forecast is not brilliant I'm afraid

Where will the bus stop be - Freefall? It's going to be an early start on Day 1 - is the bus timetable sorted yet?

Thanks DaveK. By the comments I heard, the six days definitely got the thumbs up this year, and impressed a lot of people - - - though no doubt some of you will think it was better than you hoped, and some worse....!
nice work if you can get it

Re: Moray 2013
And for balance...
the planning was terrible and the map update was pretty shoddy too - not what you expect from the 6 day
I was a bit disappointed when I saw the map in the start lane; even more disappointed when I saw the course. A bit embarrassing, really
