Re: WOC 2013
I'm sure that double miss had a psychological impact. But never mind, I think the team were still all heroes today, and they should be a great team for the next three or four years.
Oh and that result must've been a relief for Norway who were on the brink of going home without a medal.

Re: WOC 2013
Claire's GPS is unbelievable. At 14:30 she's AT the control, having pulled up to third. A minute later she's there again, then another 90sec passes and she's back again.

How unlucky can you get?

WOC 2014 forest race qualifying
Looks like the women made it to division 1, 8th nation (7th on this year's scores).
1170 Switz
1060 Sweden
1048 Finland
878 Norway
799 Russia
686 Czech
601 Denmark (263 in 2013)
556 GB (274 in 2013)
---------------------
536 Lithuania
424 Ukraine
Men are about 16th nation, "Division 2, lower part", so only two slots in middle and long next time.
(Top 8 being Norway Switz Sweden Russia France Latvia Czech Finland)
The fact that the girls are so much better makes it all the more mysterious that we didn't take a full team...

Re: WOC 2013
The men only ran two in both the Middle and Long this year. But next time we have the Team Sprint - surely a good option for GBR
