What's the idea with number 7 on the mens the only viable route looks to be south with a big dog leg at 6 then path run and look at the other legs with real choices.

If he works with Norberg there's a good chance of a top 10

You are meant to gamble your WOC position on finding a runnable strip in the marsh along the river north of the straight line, and then finding a quick route across the semi-open hills at the end.
The forest has to be awfully fast for 13-14 not to be another kilometre on a path. And then the men have the same leg as the women 16-17 with another option for several kilometres on paths/roads.
Overall it looks a slightly odd course.

Not sure about 12-13, Sorensen seems to be pulling away from Nordberg and Ralph by going out to the road.

Well done Ralph! An excellent 2nd half, and he could well have won the run-in competition...

Re: WOC 2013
Brilliant sprint finish from Ralph to finish ahead of Merz (but sadly 6 mins down on him). Sitting 8th with 20 still to finish, good enough time for top 25?

Not bad for a wee lad!
He really has done good. Another positive performance for the team.

The Norwegian Magne Dæhli just put in a blistering last leg to take the lead... amazing after 100mins running!
