Northern Champs
Castle Carr is looking beautiful and the terrain is in perfect condition. Entries have been extended so you are not too late to run in this hidden valley...

Re: Northern Champs
Having read the final instructions, don't think I'll bother as too much of a faff even tho there has obviously a lot of thought gone into logistics eg minibus and colouring tent. I've had enough of long walks this year and in case there are the long walks I remember from S6Ds of yore, think I'd better save myself

Re: Northern Champs
! and MrsC are looking forward to it. The walks do look a little daunting -1.5k from parking and 25-35 mins to start but hopefully that means we get into good orienteering imediately. I do hope the area near the start is sheltered and has plenty of room to wait as they state that they are enforcing start times strictly; so I for one intend to assume the longer end of the range for the walk and so could be there a little early...
Possibly the slowest Orienteer in the NE but maybe above average at 114kg
