SN Event at Wellington college
Anyone know when the results might be going up? Wasn't even told my finish time, so no idea how I did in Race 2 or overall - and I was on for a good one

(i don't know about results but...) Brilliant event! Great to get to do a challenging and interesting sprint with forest/urban mix. There must be more of these areas in the UK at big posh schools? More diversity in sprint races rather than always using university campuses would be great - forest sprints are fantastic fun!

The World Cups in NZ had the sprint final at a big posh school too - maybe something we can look into?!
This looked like just the sport of map that Murray was looking to train on a few weeks ago.
Was really sorry to miss the event (though Porto was also excellent).

Must agree with you Ruth. Great event. As you say the terrain is more diverse than running at a University campus. Really enjoyed it, and even finished before the rain came

Re: SN Event at Wellington college
I managed to get permission to use a small part of Malvern Girls' College last year for the Great Malvern Urban Race (the sports complex) only because it was an "Exeat" weekend and no pupils were around - otherwise it wouldn't have been allowed. I asked if we could go into another area where there was interesting buildings and it was an absolute no-no. child protections etc.
I would be very interested to know more about how permissions were obtained for Wellington college in case I ever decide to do another event in Malvern as It would have to be over towards the Boys' College side and it would be very useful to say "well Wellington College had no problems with it"

Re: SN Event at Wellington college
It's a shame this event (in a SCOA area) clashed with the SCOA League event at Hamptworth, though it seems some people managed both.

Is course 1B as well too much to ask for?
