Has anyone had issues upgrading to PurplePen(v2.0 beta)?

Some recent course files have been saved using PPen(v2.0) and sent to another club member for printing. They only have PPen(v1.22) which cannot open the later file type. I've reinstalled my own system back to PPen(v1.22) and couldn't open my own course files either.

Fortunately had a backup in the old format.

So just a warning to others about upgrading to PPen v2.0 at the moment as files saved may not be compatible to other PPen users.

I have never used Purple Pen, but have you checked if the latest v2.0 includes an option to "save as" the previous v1.22 format ?

2.0 beta 2, which came out a few days ago, may have fixed your problem:

"Files saved with 2.0 can now be loaded into 1.x version of Purple Pen without error."
