A full team is at least 3 finishing males and females on the respective A-classes, and at least 1 finishing relay team on each of the relay classes-i.e. not having to rely on the 'last finisher +1' point scoring for some of the team points. At least that's unless the scoring has changed.
Is there going to be a SPOOK presence at the beer-race?
I'd like to be down there for the craic but I'm running The National XC instead.

The scoring changed slightly in 2011; you now need 3 finishing males and 3 finishing females in total across the respective A, B or C classes, with the first finisher on B treated as if they were last+1 on A etc, and at least 1 finishing relay team on each of the relay classes. The "last finisher +1" is now "last finisher on the lowest course +1" [The Scott-Mharky Amendment]

Aberystwyth University
Heriot-Watt University
Imperial College London
Manchester Metropolitan University
Sheffield Hallam University
University of Leicester
University of Liverpool
University of Salford
Other than those already mentioned, I'm reasonably sure that Liverpool used to be LIVUOC, and I once ran for Salford Uni in the 1978 BUSF Champs as SALUOC - I'm not sure if they've featured a team since.
I accept that it's probably now IOC, but I'm sure Imperial used to run as ICOC (when the weren't running as part of ULOC).

Re: BUCS 2013
Salford Uni had a team in 1994 (I think we even had enough for a minibus)..... I'm probably the only one who really still orienteers .... apart from the occasional appearance of one member who went on to be a World Champion Adventure Racer

Routegadget
A bitterly cold day out on Burbage, and although the sun just came out briefly, it was also starting to snow as the courses closed.

Re: BUCS 2013
Well done EUOC on their 8th overall title - glad to know Fergus the Stag is returning to his home in the CSE trophy cabinet!
Also interesting to see first ever win on the Men's Individual for Oxford with Peter winning it (ending Edinburgh's 5yr reign).
