Re: EUOC Big Weekend 2013
Met office forecast for saturday in edinburgh is a mild +6 degrees so even if frostt on thursday if a decision needs to be made then it should be fine by the weekend....? Since I have my hotel and flight! booked i'll be there any way.

Re: EUOC Big Weekend 2013
there was some heavy snow fall last night and it's all gone in the city centre this morning. If the temperature is going up I really don't see there being any problem with the weather...

Snow turning to rain, but being above freezing it will just melt! Travelling thursday so we'll already be there.

Re: EUOC Big Weekend 2013
Snow has not been settling in the streets this week. Plenty of snow on Holyrood which will be tough and slippery, but I can't see any reason they'd cancel now, or how Holyrood could be unusable. Street race has to depend on whether it freezes Friday night and how many steps there are. Looks promising!

Re: EUOC Big Weekend 2013
Just called in to work to cancel today's clinic at Coatbridge. Been trying for an hour to get my (non 4x4) car up the hill out of our street in Renfrewshire and failed. Sounds like its going to get worse before it gets better. Good luck in the East!

Cold rain in Edinburgh. "Nice" would be stretching it, but no reason to worry about cancellation. Shame about andys 4x4 weak big end.

Gross is right. My winter tyres go on every December and I had no problem getting through the snow this morning. Just as well as I'm actually working today!

Well I'd have managed too if I lived at the top of the hill instead of the bottom! ANyhow I still got a full days work in from home!
Glad to hear its OK in Edinburgh - still snowing here.

Re: EUOC Big Weekend 2013
Enjoyed the City Race yesterday (despite missing a control that I literally ran past) and the chasing sprint today was good too, despite the "non-conventional" approach to the planning of the end of the Chase courses
.
Thanks EUOC!

Thanks EUOC!
