Regrettable the SOC/SCOA League Level C event at Busketts Lawn this Sunday has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.

From the Organiser:
The club event on Sunday 20th January has with regret been cancelled following an inspection today.
The controller has concerns over ditches and ponds that are covered with snow, making it hard to see where they are. With cold temperatures forecast until Sunday it is unlikely much of the snow will thaw. Access to the parking and assembly area is also hazardous.

And another great morning's competition in sunshine (and the odd snow flurry) on the glorious Moray Coast at Findhorn. The SEDS athletes and many other Elites joining their training weekend (some of whom had just got back from NZ) seemed to make the most of the opportunity.

SLOW's fell race on Box Hill today went ahead in the snow. Most of the runners thought the conditions made it an excellent experience, and there should be some fantastic photos on the net soon.
And I'm looking forward to running at DFOK's Westerham event tomorrow

Our website says check at around 8pm for the latest news.
Assuming it goes ahead (I'm not part of the organising on this one), looking at the weather forecast a cagoule, hat and gloves looks like a good idea.
