BAOC website has no venue/event confirmed, and I need to know if I should be knocking up some cucumber sarnies before I have my Complan, have my feet rubbed, and go to bed.

Don't think so. Colin Dickson has put on events at very short notice in the past (though not THIS short) but I gather he's on holiday.
