Happy New Year Today - despite having organised two events in the last two weeks - I actually got out orienteering for the first time in two months - and it was fun
Happy New Year and hopefully I will see you at Moray 2013 (and many events before that). Training started with a 3 mile and 311 metre climb Hillforts and Headaches fell race from Rothbury. That's all up so a pleasant 3 mile run back from the top of the Simonside Hills once the race was over. Exactly 8 minutes slower than when I last did this in 2006 (pre-achilles snapping days and 2 year weight gain regime in St Andrews). This is essentially 1 min slower per kilometre (adjusted for climb).
