I emailed Siven about cost and got a price list within 2 days. We are looking at the feasibility of having one of their stock tops and having our logo printed on back. One of their designs is in our club colours and I bought one at WMOC and it was about £20ish - very nice material with zip and not as 'fitted' as our current noname ones ie the siven top does not ride up when I run (or perhaps that should be jog!).
DVO has just ordered new siven tops - see their website

The new HH top is one of Siven's standard designs but with the colours changed and with logos added, so if you are following that route there is no need to pick a design which is already the right colours.
We are charging £25 each and this was roughly the cost after allowing for VAT, carriage and bank charges. Obviously this will vary according to exchange rates (their prices are in Euro) and size or order.
Paul Frost wrote:The Siven website is appalling, apart from the fact that it is entirely Flash driven, I couldn't find any pricing info apart from special designs with a €50 each minimum. Price is important, don't make me ask, because I probably won't.
The website is now much better than it was when I first looked at it (about 2 years ago), so there may be future improvements. Some of the limited pricing and minimum order information that is there is not applicable to O-tops (although this is not clear), so it is best to ask them for the correct information.

LEI has new club tops which are from Siven and have been in use since the summer. The price is about the same as HH. They are very comfortable to wear and quality is very good, although sizes are on the small side and a tight fit.

How would you know, Paul?

But, yes, it is truly awful.

Re: Club Orienteering clothing
Given all the support for Siven I have now emailed them with a batch of questions. I do find it annoying when visiting websites where they are trying to sell you stuff but they leave off the prices. Emailing them wastes their and my time if they are more expensive than I want to pay. I know there are variables, but a base price and example of the extra costs would be better for everyone concerned.
I was also a bit surprised when I went to the LEI and HH websites to see examples of the new tops mentioned above but found no mention or photos of them.

Re: Club Orienteering clothing
LEI first became aware of Siven tops because 2 club members went to Croatia in 2010 as part of the self funded British team to compete in the ARDF (Radio Orienteering) World Championships. Another member of the British team comes from Bulgaria and had personal experience of Siven staff and their products which are worn by many of the teams competing in Radio O including Russia, Ukraine and Bulgaria. The British ARDF team ordered 12 personalised tops in 2010 incorporating a Union Flag design. These attracted much positive comment from the other teams. Photographs of competitors at the 2012 ARDF World Championships in Serbia, including the British team, can be found here. LEI member Bob Titterington M70, who has been a leading protagonist of ARDF in the UK, became the first British ARDF World Champion. Presentation Ceremony video
The 2010 ARDF tops only cost about £12 each. This year LEI was looking for some junior tops and decided to order some from Siven. Some of the sizes from the initial batch were very small. The LEI tops are made from a more ripstop material than the ARDF ones but cost about £25 including VAT, delivery and extortionate bank charges. The club has since ordered two more batches including adult sizes.

Many LEI juniors are now wearing Siven tops and these can be seen in photographs taken at the Yvette Baker Trophy last weekend. I surmise that the HH decision to order from Siven might have been influenced by another member of the British ARDF team who is also a member of HH.I was also a bit surprised when I went to the LEI and HH websites to see examples of the new tops mentioned above but found no mention or photos of them.

Re: Club Orienteering clothing
Not so much use for orienteering race tops, but I used http://www.pomprint.co.uk for technical tees for the Grampian Mountain Challenge last month. They were really helpful in the design process, I supplied them an SVG (Vector) file of the design and they adapted it to suit. They can "vectorize" any JPG file too I think.
We only paid £13 for each top, we ordered 100 with a mix of XS, S, M and L sizes. I was delighted with service.
