With Microsoft Office the disk and box probably now cost 50p the remaining £ 900 or whatever pays for the software development. SI is not disssimilar.

Have to agree with Graeme re OCAD. Since v9 I see no reason to recommend that the club invests in upgrades (though I reckon, along with many others, I could come up with many tweaks that I would see beneficial, especially with the planner).
