early june has become the early february of the summer and is birthday season all over again. those early nights in october eh.

that's interesting - in my magazine we have a section called The Cake of Mortality which is awarded each month to the person who did the most ingenious and original daft thing even vaguely connected with orienteering - they sell the cake at Wilf's (It's the farmhouse fruit cake) - they'll probably remember which one is you ask them for it :shock:

Wwith all the current birthdays at the mo its a shame 2, yes 2, members of the cartel couln't even send their mother an e-mail, text, phone call or in one case a birthday card. Even a message on Nopesport would have been apreciated!! You were on line today Mharky, so what's your excuse. Remember what might happen on 26th!!

ian has been trying! he wanted to phone last night but thought y'd be tucked up in bed and has been trying all this evening before getting through. hope it was an enjoyable day tho!

I don't think getting attacked by a swan was daft or original - it was quite scary at the time.
