Re: Embargos
Ooh err. That's done it. Luckily I've got internet access in my hiding place and so I'll watch with interest.
Just putting on my hoodie and popping down for a coffee with Forest Jumper's dad (luckily he lives just off the embargoed bit of Forres). Who knows what they'll think up next? While I'm there I'd better tell him that the lads are embargoed from competing in Day 3 of Moray 2013.

Re: Embargos
I voted for "A & B" because I see that some level B events are important enough for an unscrupulous person to be tempted to cheat - I hope that there is no-one in the sport who would yield to the temptation but I'm a realist.
However if I were to find someone wandering around the competition area of a Level C before the event I would be unhappy and if someone were seen looking for controls (or tags) after they'd been placed I would be extremely concerned for any event.
Most events would merely merit a stiff word in the case of an experienced competitor and gentle advice to those who may have been unaware that they were acting inappropriately.
I don't think I've personally helped place controls for an event at Level C or above and then competed (somewhere in the back of my mind has someone saying to me " Andy you put the controls out in that area because your course doesn't go there") but I do remember someone confessing at the finish that they'd had trouble finding a specific control that they'd actaully put out.
