Seems possible to fly over Friday morning and get there by public transport.
1st race Friday is in a sandy pine forest (at night)
2nd race Sprint in Palmadova
3rd race = Venice
Sounds like a fab weekend.

Already in diary
Are you coming over then Jayne?
Anyone else planning to come this year?
There should also be the option of the standard Park Race (actually an urban model event!) on the Saturday for those who don't want to head out to Palmanova. I am still undecide as to whether Itake the train and just do Venice or drive and do the other 2 races as well.

Flights booked! The website for the adriatic meeting says something about accommodation but doesn't really have any details. Anyone know any more?

Have seen part of the castle vale map and it looks really good. If Venice hadn't won me over would definitely have gone

Re: Adriatic Meeting (inc. Venice)
Any idea whether it's possible to get to the races by public transport (or whether there is going to be any race organised coaches from anywhere). Information on the website is limited, and the best I've found is you can get a bus to a town 35k away from Friday's race, and the main bus only runs in the summer.

I don't know but I suggest you try the very efficient MOC admin lady, Giulia Zenere, at giuliaze@yahoo.it as she may know.
I am driving up and will be picking up SJ + Ravinous so didn't look too long at public transport option

Is email a good person to try and check if our entries have actually got through? No response from anywhere about them!
