LOG 25th Anniversary Weekend (including Lincoln City Race)

Plans are being finalised for the 25th anniversary weekend on Sat 1st & Sun 2nd September, which will feature the 6th annual Lincon City race (part of the UK Master’s Cup, the Nopesport Urban League and the inaugural East Midlands Urban league). The weekend will kick off with a ‘Friendship Relay’ event and celebratory BBQ at Riseholme College on Saturday evening and be followed on the Sunday morning with the Lincoln City race. A heads up that there's just over a week to go until entries close (midnight on 2708/12) for the two races that form this weekend. We're particularly keen to have orienteers come and join our anniversary celebrations at the 'Friendship Relay' event on the Saturday night. 5 quid gets you 2x 2.5k run-outs on a sprint map around a beautiful historic campus, with a very convivial crew for team mates, and a BBQ afterwards - what's not to like

Also, don't forget that the next UK Relay League race is also on Saturday 1st September in Sheffield. If you're really keen you could run there between 2pm and 5pm, and still get over to Lincoln by 7pm for the second relay race in one day!
