Are they going to the start triangle on the southern route to 1?

Did anyone see Murray punch 18? Look liked he ran past the alleyway to me

Looks like the GPS coverage there isn't great. Others appear not to punch as well.

And Murray and Tess get the same position! Awwww!
Congratulations to all - especially Scott for almost splitting up the "Matthias from Switzerland" crew!

Re: WOC 2012
Great result from Scott, especially as he had to go back to punch the control on the run-through. Probably lost less than the gap to 3rd but still must have affected his flow. I think we need more people called Mathias on the team though.
Kyburz was simply awesome. What a talent!

We'll never know if scott would have split them up if he hadn't muppeted the spectator
but regardless it was a fantastic performance, he should be proud!
Claire had a fantastic run too and a shame she missed out on the podium. She's got a few more races to do that though!
Such an outstanding day to be here though, 4 medals for the home nation and the atmosphere was electric, one of the loudest crowds I've been in. Not sure it will have come across on the tv! The noise when one of the matthias' came through looked to have put trenchand off and he ran past spectator

Re: WOC 2012
Not much came across on the TV, as they had the direct audio from whatever feed was showing. So we mostly got start clock bleeps, heavy breathing noises, and no idea what was going on.
If you're expected to pay up front, you expect a better deal. Why you would have planned fancy run through graphics and not an audio link to at least the commentary in the arena? Crazy. I have no idea what they were thinking. I hope it improves as they suggest for the rest of the week.
Still, didn't GBR do well?! That is surely the key point of the day.

That's surprising. The production in the arena was actually really good, and it must have been quite difficult to keep up with what was happening with so many cameras available, plus tracking, plus an intermediate control and a run through. The arena commentator did a great job.
