We're needing to move all of 3 miles in to (sunlit) Forres so we can look after granny, and reluctantly have to vacate what I can only describe as a paradise for a discerning orienteering family. We've got Moray's most sought-after rural primary school just up the road if you turn right out of the door, and if you turn left you find yourself in a patch of woodland that seems to have an attraction for strangely-dressed folk running around with maps. The whole area has a great community spirit, as has the nearby town of Forres where there's a good secondary school. If you, or anyone you know with about £250K to spare, might be interested , then please send me a pm. The house won't be officially on the market for 2 weeks, but we're happy to offer a preview to any orienteers who might be keen.
You can see more info on my Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.392517634130471.79900.100001167125941&type=1&l=9790bc359b or on the Moravian web site http://www.moravianorienteering.org/content/house-sale-orienteering-paradise which takes you ultimately to the same place.

Maybe British Orienteering could buy it for a permanent club house?!

Wonder whatever happened to the surplus fund from WOC 1976? There was quite a lot of discussion back in the late 1990's about using it to fund a GBR Elite 'hut' in the Lakes... various sites were identified etc etc but nothing progressed.
Guess the money just slipped into general funds?????
