BOC
I must thank everybody involved in BOC today. The organisation was awesome. So tricky and it all seemed flawless. Parking and busses were fantastic. Those drivers deserve a medal each. The Assembly area was well laid out and very spacious. The huge marquee was really wellused. Much better changing in there in preference to a squashed club tent. They seem to have thought of everything. Ienjoyed my course now that I've learnt to read contours. The fabulous weather was a real bonus.

Re: BOC
I'd like to second all of the above - we really enjoyed the whole day. To top it all the weather was superb and though I don't know the final results, I do know I wasn't last

Re: BOC
Another positive acknowledgement - thoroughly enjoyed it - perfect weather, and underfoot conditions; interesting course, with one long leg giving major route choice decision, although probably chose best it meant just running the reverse of the first part of the course (10); only downside - can we PLEASE have 1:10,000 maps for all?
Well done to all involved.

Re: BOC
Hats off to those involved organising this event. They were given very challenging logistics. Bus scheduling is not easy and they seem to have delivered exceptional service. Well done. Now you can (a) sleep at night and (b) enjoy/compete at the next event.

Re: BOC
Results were posted a few minutes ago, after driving back from the event.
I know there have been many issues that most people have not been aware of that the organisers and coordinator just got on and dealt with, and many that I don't know about either. I think they will all appreciate the positive comments made above.

Re: BOC
I'd like to add my thanks and praises. An excellent event, extremely well organised it seemed to me. I must confess I had feared bus complications and knock-on issues but I am not aware of any.
Well done and many thanks to all involved. It was well worth the effort (at least from my perspective).

Re: BOC
The arrangements all seemed to work fine. Enjoyed the event, and the course.
I took a few pictures (from the run-in) and put them here. Mostly elites, and SYO.
Looking forward to the relays...

Thanks David. Are you doing Routegadget as well, or has someone else got that job?
Great event at the relays today. Nice area and map and some good courses with gaffling that split the groups. Gaffling in the last field has obviously caught out quite a few runners (including my team mate
