Public transport at BOC

I have entered the BOC, and decided to be environmentally friendly and travel down from Scotland using the train. This is fine, but what I didn't realise is that it then takes you over 3 and a half hours to get from Ravenglass to the relays in Kendal by public transport.

I have to meet up with the non orienteering part of the family for a family celebration on the Saturday night. Can anybody give me a lift from Ravensglass at about 16.00 to Kendal/ A590 direction

Then the X35 bus from Ulverton at 1807 gets you into Kendal at 1910. S'easy

I can offer a lift to Kendal. I'll be leaving around 4.15pm from assembly. Come to the OD club tent / banner and ask for Andy.

Get tha thumb out on the exit to the car-park and someone will pick you up - me at least (4.30-4.45ish)

Assembly needs a big screen live twitter feed with lifts advertised . . . . . and a signed pick-up area.

We're due to be heading from the car park to kendal at 4ish so I suspect looking like a friendly orienteer and having a "Kendal" sign in the car park should get you an easy lift back.
