I've recently acquired a smartphone (Apple iPhone4) which is capable of locating its position using GPS.
I've found an app which will record where I've been on a walk or run, or more importantly an orienteering course. This app is called Nike+ GPS, and I can upload my run to a website called nikerunning.nike.com, on which I can see my routes overlaid on Google maps.
What I want to do is extract my run information and feed it into RouteGadget (for those orienteering events where the organiser has set RouteGadget). Does anyone know how to achieve this? I don't mind getting a different iPhone app if that would help.
iPhone app to RouteGadget?

does nike+ not offer GPX export? if it does you can use that file.
If not... sign up for the free site runkeeper.com which will allow you to export a .gpx file from the website after you have uploaded your run from the iphone app (also cunningly called runkeeper)

Or try the Strava app which allows you to log runs or bike rides and then save the gps file.

Runkeeper is a great site, though not recommended for use in creating GPX files (using "advanced options")from a Garmin trace as it simplifies, presumably to reduce storage. You end up finding that you haven't visited in-and-out controls.
Garmin have upgraded their Training Centre software to allow a direct export of a gpx file. The update can be downloaded from their website. I use this export for routegadget. I also use it to upload into Runkeeper; it seems quicker and more reliable than importing direct from the Garmin.
