Re: South of England Urban League
Shaftesbury has just been confirmed today, so the league stands and should be best 7 count.

All set up at http://www.oxfordfusion.com/NopeUL/index.cfm?Org=5.
Race organisers please contact me for the upload passwords. Races that are part of both SEOUL and the Nopesport Urban League will need to upload once to each site. The uploads can be different, to cater for any local eligibility rules.

Re: South of England Urban League
Well, given that the opportunity has arisen
, I can report that entries for the 23rd June Canterbury University Sprint race and 24th June City of Canterbury Urban Race - which is part of the SoE Urban League (as well as being a Masters Cup and Nopesport League event) - are now open on Fabian 4. Preliminary details are available at http://www.canterbury.saxons-oc.org.
As the Urban race is a charity event in support of the local Pilgrims Hospices, we would encourage everyone when entering to consider using the facility to make a donation, however large or small.
On the Sunday afternoon, Saxons are running a 30 control charity score event with a two hour time limit, aimed particularly at newcomers to the sport and targeted at local people. This is in support of the Hospices 30th anniversary. The event is, however, open to all and, again, entries can be made via Fabian 4.

Re: South of England Urban League
Also now link to details for Shaftesbury, Dorset event on Saturday 30th June 2012.
Fantastic map recently drawn by Mike Hampton OD
Entries should open on Fabian on 18th (tomorrow)

You can make it a fantastic weekend of events by carrying on to the Harvester at Borden later in the evening

A bump to the top again with a reminder that the first SEOUL race is on Saturday at Huntingdon.

There are plenty of maps available for all courses - you are guaranteed good weather (Huntingdon has an unusual microclimate) and (hopefully) tricky orienteering around the town and local estates.

Re: South of England Urban League
The website http://cityrace.org/seoul/ doesn't seem to be working at the moment - which is a shame as it had links to the individual race web sites.

The Seoul city race would seem a bit distant for most of us

Eddie - I cannot believe your comment - you are often down in this part of the world visiting - if it coincides - come and have a go and enjoy yourself
Also there is nothing to stop you organising a similiar league in your home area

Barny - I interpreted as a joke (or attempt at one
)
i.e. play on "Seoul "the city in the Far East, i don't think Eddie was having a dig
