Have decided to use Nopesport to help me sort out minor relay issues.
What is a good way to organise 100 club labelled carrier bags so it's easy for tired relay finishers to drop their map in the correct bag?
Colin showed me a photo of a peg and washing line construction used at a recent relay that looked as though it was held up by t bars in a circle. I'm not sure how I'd hold up 100 carrier bags containing 1000 maps though. Another possible solution is attaching washing line to a nearby deer fence and pegging bags to that (in a-z order of course).
What has worked/ not worked in other large relays?

Re: map reclaim bags for relays
Passing a washing line / thick string through the handles of a half decent carrier bag works fine, but have a fence post every 10-20 bags to support the line.

You think line through bags is better than pegging bags on line? The bags are less likely to fall off but will then be in a mess on the floor for clubs to pick up afterwards when the string is removed.

No need for the mess, line through the handles then people can just rip the bag off. Not like they are going to be used again? (unless you want your shopping to get covered in mud/blood/brashings/grass)

My photo was of the map bags at the British Sprints - I believe the string did pass through the bag handles but maybe the pegs were used to separate bunches?
