JK - Good Friday Act of Worship
For those for whom Easter is not only a Festival of Orienteering but also a Christian Festival we have arranged a Service of Worship on Good Friday. It will be held in the West Lothian College where we will be parking and will start at 4.30 pm. It will be led by Brian Porteous who is not only a member of FVO and Vice-President of IOF (and now nominated for President) but also a preacher in the Church of Scotland. All are welcome, please come and join with us. Also, please pass this on to anyone you think might be interested.

45 minutes, but if you wish to get to the start of the AGM you will be given the opportunity to slip out at 5 o'clock.

Re: JK - Good Friday Act of Worship
Many years ago my club booked JK accommodation at a site which was also being used by a group of evangalical young adults. Lovely people but we weren't forewarned of their all night vigil which ended in some early morning (about 5 am) behaviour which could be described as "ecstatic". A couple of our members were quite distressed as they thought the fire alarm had been sounded.

Re: JK - Good Friday Act of Worship
Many thanks to Brian for leading another JK Good Friday time of remembrance. I would hope that this can again happen next year and in future years.
The service concluded shortly after 5pm and I don't think could have inconvenienced anyone who did not wish to attend, so I don't see the relevance of the comments relating to disturbances at 5am.

I'll obviously have to have to preface such posts with "warning - mildly amusing anecdote from 20 years ago" in future.
