Wasn't Wentwood a day during Croeso 2008?

Wentwood West. Which 20 years ago was mainly solid green - young conifers. Grew up as quite dark forest, which in the main kept the brambles at bay. Has also been used quite nicely for night events over the last few years. Large parts of Wentwood East still as 70plus remembers it.

Foxley and Garnstone. A total bramblefest, and one I have no intention of returning to, especially given the level of entry fees for championships nowadays.

The only saving grace of yesterday's event was that it was dry and sunny otherwise we'd have had the delights of the infamous Herefordshire/ Worcestershire/ South Shropshire mud to contend with.

Most of the comments above are about horrible terrain, or mean planning rather than bad mapping which the subject suggests.
