Thanks to Border Liners for putting on the event and organising such fantastic weather. Being such a bad weather magnate whenever I'm involved in organising an event (don't mention Bigland) it was fantastic to be running in the sunshine.

Both matches were very close.

In the cup Lakeland won with 2295 to West Cumberland 2283 and Manchester & District 2273. By virtue of Lakeland being placed 3rd in the 2011 final then Lakeland and West Cumberland progress.

In the trophy Pendle Forest on 1269 narrowly beat hosts Border Liners with 1261 and South East Lancs on 1204.
