EUOC seems to have gone all religious, according to its website - which is fine, but not if you're wanting information on the Big Weekend or where the next FWTN event is.
Does anyone know when normal service will be resumed?

Re: Edinburgh University Orienteering Club
Unfortunatly the website is currently out of EUOC contol, after the missplacement of a changed password and the SU web providers insisting on changing the server before they return service to normal, despite our ability to do so faster beforehand...
Enties and information about the Big Weekend can temporarily be found at
https://oentries.com/multi/events/18-edinburgh-university-s-big-weekend/details
and hopefully up to date

Sorry for any and all inconvenience, we're aware this is poor timing as entries have only just been sorted out.
The weekend is going to be bigger and better than ever so get your entries in!
FwtN shall be updated on the BOF fixtures list within the week to tell you where and when the next events are.

Although I can't give you an official answer, last year starts were from 1200 to 1500. I would expect something similar.

Confirmation from the top, starts this year for the city race are from 11 to 2.
For the SoSOL 10:30 to 12 with the mass start held within this range

Shame, I am really going to struggle to get there before 2pm (after working in the morning).

Nice of you to continually be checking the webpage to notice momentary changes. I think everyone will be happy to know that the webpage has been rightfully returned to the control of EUOC.
If you were in any doubt as to entering the weekend under the risk of being shipped off to a religious camp, this has been cleared up. I'm sure we'll provide you with just as much excitement yet more at your terms. So get your entries flowing.

Happy New Year!
Any further information on start location for Arthur's Seat event and the mass start races would be much appreciated. Only 2 weeks to go

Simon, although sadly we are not coming to Edinburgh this year, I took a quick look at the final details to see if I could learn anything pre-Mavern and although the document opened, I can't see anything on it except the title, a map extract and some empty tables. It may be a Mac thing. Anyone else having trouble?

Re: Edinburgh University Orienteering Club
I can confirm that it is a Mac thing.
I get the same on my iMac in Preview, but if I open it in Acrobat it's fine.
I tried re-saving it from Acrobat but still end up with the same limited content.
Interestingly, saving the file to my Dropbox account and then opening it on my iPad it looks OK.
So I don't know what unusual settings were used when it was exported from Word.
You can also upload it to Google Docs and it is readable.
