Re: Scottish Champs 2012 Website
Hi Jon, just looked at the web site. It says that the monday and tuesday events are part of the UK Master's cup (as well as the Saturday) but the list of Master's events I downloaded from the BOf website only shows the Saturday event as being part of the series - has this been changed then - might be worth a second trek up north if that's the case

Actual wording is 'UK Veterans' Cup' - are there two different competitions?

I'm not sure what the competition is to be called next year - Masters Cup or Veterans Cup - perhaps someone in the know can inform me!

Re: Scottish Champs 2012 Website
This year we had the "Masters Cup". All that really is is Eddie Harwood, a spreadsheet, and some sponsorship from CompassPoint.

All those things still exist, and expect to go ahead, the nominated races being.

Re: Scottish Champs 2012 Website
MrsH:
Monday and Tuesday are not part of the Masters Cup.
The Masters Cup isn't mentioned on the website, but it sounds like "Veteran's Cup" is a mistake rather than another competition.
It is worth a second trip up North.

Re: Scottish Champs 2012 Website
I can confirm that Saturday is part of the British Masters Cup but Monday and Tuesday are NOT.
Sorry for any confusion caused - its nothing compared to my personal confusion of what event is counting for what league or cup competition!

Re: Scottish Champs 2012 Website
I've updated the website with the above info.
But it got me thinking about identifying these things clearer...
See my new thread (I didn't want to upset Kitch).

Re: Scottish Champs 2012 Website
Scottish Champs camp site (at the world famous Braemar Games field) will have hot showers as well as toilets in permanent buildings. All at very reasonable cost.
