Has anyone managed to get a parallel version of the Epson T90 to work with a parallel-to-usb cable and Windows 7? I can find little on the internet apart from disabling bi-direction support (which doesn't make any difference) or upgrading the printer with the USB module. Any hints?

I would check the drivers and see what's available for download over the internet. Try a more up to date driver and check whether x32 or x64.
Or have you got another cable you can try?
What error are you getting? Are you getting any communication between PC and printer?

It's a world of hassle - I recommend upgrading the printer. Changing the USB module is really easy and we've had trouble-free operation ever since.

Thanks for the responses. Sometimes coming up with the error "EPSONTM-P2.01 - no driver found", sometime no error, just says the printer is not available. Have tried the latest drivers on the Epson web site as well as the one on SPORTident site. Will borrow a printer for our next event and get the module changed.
