Apologies to SARUM, British Night Champs organisers that we omitted the maps for the Spot the Difference competition. I am awaiting some witty entries! However, we will put them in the DEC issue.
Also apols for saying in the CSC text that OD had dropped out the CSC Final Results top 3 when clearly they were second! I think I was trying to say that they were much further behind the win than normal. Sorry Mighty OD!
As I have had no contact from anybody, BOF employed or otherwise, as to why Caroline Povey and Dave Peel think the competition has changed name, as far as myself and the rest of the Orienteering Fraternity are concerned it is still the CompassSport Cup/Trophy. Started by Ned Paul CompassSport in the early 80s, the rules of which, in his words, hijacked by BOF.
I am sure there will be more on this in due course...

Perhaps BOF is launching its own inter-club trophy - just hasn't bothered to tell the clubs ? The clubs in anycase will continue to support CSC / CST.

Seems CSC name is changing afterall....

It was noted that the name change to the CSC will be actioned in the rules when the matter has been agreed between CS (Nick Barrable) and the Board.

Just Events Committee and the associated groups: Map, Rules, Major Events, Senior/Junior/Elite Competitions, Fixtures - although the current Fixtures group is going to carry on doing fixturing work for the moment, and some of the other groups also have bits of operational work for 2012 that they need to continue with.

The call for nominations for people to sit on the new Events Committee went out to Associations last week, and the deadline for nominations is 8th January - if you want to be involved, get in touch with your Association Chair/Secretary!

The other Committees (International, Development, Coaching, Trail-O) are still carrying on as normal.
