There was I thinking the season was over - just small events. I never read the details and wasn't expecting a black course. Oh, and 4k to the start and back from the finish as well.

What a place to have available from home on such a beautiful winter day. As Richard Oxlade said to me "Aren't we lucky to live here?"

Toughest black of the year for me including 14 minutes for a 600m leg - should have dropped down and climbed at the end like Dan whose time blows my mind.

A good event for those who like things tough - 5 competitors under 10mins/km (and 2 of these were on the white course!). Great courses, great day out.
