I see a sudden last minute rush of entries has pushed numbers up to 4035
Should be a good weekend

Can anyone send me links to maps and courses from previous years? Keen to geek it up before the big day.

I put last year's M40 course on Routegadget - it's here. Leg 9-10 is the classic "Rialto or Academia?" bridge decision.
The finish will almost certainly be in the same place this year. The start is quite likely to be somewhere similar

Any particular place for a get together in Venice? Staying there from Friday night (600 m from Rialto Bridge). Don't speak Italian, never been there but will try my best.

If someone can give you the Italian for " Excuse me I'm an insane Scot" you'll survive I'm sure -especially if you wear your "interesting" O kit.

Possibly the slowest Orienteer in the NE but maybe above average at 114kg

pazienza, pazienza..
Entries only closed on Tuesday so give them a chance. I reckon they should be up by the weekend.
I see they're planning to start from 9.00 this year which seems sensible to avoid the crowds.
4,300 entries now including 1,000 MW21s!

Sorry - just getting excited
Must say looking at the weather forecast I'm jolly glad it's next weekend and not this weekend

Has anyone found any start times/information yet? Is anyone going out early (we will be there Thursday evening)?
