Fantastic video showing terrain for next year's EOC near Falun in Sweden.

It was filmed using a remote controlled helicopter. I wonder if madmike has one of those hidden away somewhere.

Looks like a really neat bit of kit. I could have done with one of those for locating a control hidden in bracken on Saturday.

I think WOC 2015 should follow suit in their marketing. Helicopter / drones mounted with HD video cameras are relatively affordable now. They produce great results; as you can see above.

Fantastic forest. Even if we had the helicopter we'd never fly it through most of our woods without crashing.

Was the job before last where we played with that sort of thing Moreover, I know a man who has one but he's far too geeky to be an orienteer

Expect very similar terrain in Finland for WOC 2012 too (Long at least).

Might not be HD quality, but I've seen video from one strapped to a radio controlled plane and it was pretty impressive for the price!

Just a thought...
