Junior competitions
Does anyone else think it odd that the FCC final, YBT qualifier and British Schools Score champs are all on the same weekend?

Our YBT qualifier is tomorrow (clashing with JHI).

Re: Junior competitions
I problem might be that BOF like to arrange these fixtures early in the new season, just at the same time that clubs are wishing to get up to speed with their new autumn programme. When you also need to work around Peter Palmer there are not enough weekends in September if you want to avoid clashes of this sort. At least with the YBT qualifyer this can be attached to a normal club fixture. It's up to the Fixtures Secretaries to do the best they can to resolve as many clashes as they can. Perhaps this was not possible in the SE this year.

Re: Junior competitions
The NW YBT Qualifier is next Sunday (9th) at High Pike (BL) and clashes with the EBOR Pickering Forest event which is FCC and Northern Interland Qualifier for the juniors (and seniors) so any juniors with aspirations will be at Pickering Forest, rather than at the YBT qualifier. Maybe an upset in the NW for YBT qualification?

Re: Junior competitions
Does anyone know when the final start details will be advised for the British Schools Score champs, less than a week to go now?

I see the SE YBT around seemed to only have the host club as entrants! I presume SO go through.

Can't view this - get a message from the BBC "Sorry, this programme is not available to watch again". Is that because I don't live in the South?!

No, it's rights restrictions (presumably on another part of the programme).

Actually, I think it's because local news programmes generally only stay on iPlayer for 24 hours.
