South of Scotland Orienteering League
Does anyone out there have any information on what the fixtures are to be - dates, venues, etc - or any idea when the information will be released?

There's an ESOA meeting tomorrow when SoSOLs amongst other stuff will be discussed.

The British Orienteering fixture list, shows,
(Cancelled) TAY SoSOL, Dalguise - 2nd Oct 2011
RR SoSOL, Eildon Hills - 11th Mar 2012
I know ESOC are finding difficulty in finding a free weekend since next spring we have,
ESOC Sprint-O - 5th Feb 2012
St Andrews Weekend - Scottish Sprint Champs - 3rd Mar 2012
St Andrews Weekend - Urban Race - 4th Mar 2012

We have a committee meeting next week, when we will hopefully make a decision.

Dechmont has a full set of colour coded courses. I don't know if they'll include it in the SoSoL but I don't see why not.
Coming soon
Boston City Race (May, maybe not)
Coasts and Islands (Shetland)

CLYDE are planning a race on a new area, Windy Hill on 12 February which we will try and get into the SoSOL series.

Re: South of Scotland Orienteering League
Thanks for all the information. The reason I ask is that I am trying to complete my 50 events for 50 years of Scottish orienteering and knowing how many SoSOL events are planned would be helpful.
I've got a bit of a cold at the moment, missed the TINTO event on Tuesday, the FVO one last night, and probably the SOL on Sunday is out as well. Anticipating what is coming up helps lift the mood!
