Is that the best GB 3 in a single WOC event ever ?
Fantastic result for all.
Feel sorry for GG just missing a medal and it must have been hard for Scott between the 2 runs not knowing whether he would get to run or not.

Thats an excellent set of results - well done and hard luck on GG with his 4th.
Theres so little margin between them at that level.

A bit sad that the video has gone dead before the prizegiving - It'd be nice to see GG up there.

These are undoubtedly the best results from the whole team in and individual discipline at WOC - by a country mile. All 6 qualify and all in top 26. Perhaps GB should be pushing for the relay to be sprint distance legs

In other interesting news, Ali Crocker is one of only 4 females who qualified in all three disciplines. Seriously impressive stuff.

I assume he means GBR team results is 2nd best overall by a team behind the Swiss in the sprint final.
Have to say that the sprint qualification (despite the controversy) looks the more interesting map than the final. I guess there's other considerations too but the qualy looks more fun.
Well done also to the girls, also a decent set of results.

But... the Swiss had 4 men running. Had they had to pick three it would have been hard for them to drop Kyburz who won the sprint at NORT but finished well down today. Suddenly the team scores look far closer...
All of us Brits had a good shout for a podium today - personally one lapse in concentration has cost me 14s and 6th place, while for Scott the single fact that the marshalls who were excellent at getting pedestrians out the way during the race but stopped once the last "proper" runner had passed has surely cost him 10s or so - let alone the less then ideal preparation he had.
With Ralph and Kris waiting in the wings too, I'd say we're in a pretty stron position!

I'm impressed with your train of thought Rocky - 12th in the entire world - and youre still sounding disappointed. Shows how far you have come. Well done.

Re: Sprint Qual/Final
In case anybody is interested, the South African team have put up a blog post with photos of the various bits of the qualifier area that caused the controversy.
