Re: JWOC 2011
Typical anal IOF bureaocracy - same as when Yvatte was disqualified at WOC '91 for having pin punches outside the boxes on her control card (remember them?). Whoever dreams up these rules needs taking out into the woods and given a good kicking.

He is down in the results, and not DSQ'd

Re: JWOC 2011
The time he is down for in the results is not actually the time he ran because of when he ended up starting compared to his timed start time. Not sure about the official disqualification but having to start about 15 mins late (and being told you're dq'd) is as good as.

Re: JWOC 2011
Middle qualification now on - great runs so far from Matt Halliday, Kris Jones and Rebecca Harding. Still fairly early but looking good for A Final qualification.

Very tightly bunched, a test of good technique under pressure to make the A finals.

Great to see Kris find form and the two girls have some excellent scalps from the qualis. It's looking exciting for the finals!

Matt Halliday top Brit in 40th

Another couple of top twenty places from Rebecca Harding in 17th, and just behind her Julia Blomquist. Ida Bobach again comfortably clear.

Weh heh, its that idiot 229 calling people idiots again. I assume he knows the complete circumstance and is able to attribute the blame equally amongst all the team members.
Idiot.
(actually it does kind of make you feel better calling other people idiots, even if it makes you look an idiot yourself)
Looking forwards to the relays.

Re: JWOC 2011
Relays are underway.
Looks like Charlotte in GBR2 (12, ~3mins down on Sweden) had a much better run than Bex in GBR1 (30th, nearly 7mins down).
Swe, Fin and Nor are within ~1min of each other in the lead at the end of Leg2.
