Some of the 2 strap designs come with a thumb holder, but it seems a bit of a gimmick to me.
Also the first 2 strap design I bought, only had opening at the top for your descriptions and at times it was a bit of an art shoogling your CDs in. Now I've one with (quick release) velcro along the long side so it's really quick to insert the CDs.
Make sure the 2 straps are easily adjustable with proper fastrac clips. We've one with only figure of 8 fasteners and fine adjustment is a bit difficult.

Re: which control description holder?
I've been using one of the two-strap variety (Vapro Combi L) for about 18 months and have just bought a replacement as the plastic is starting to tear where the velcro tab is sewn to it.
I have no problem loading it. I use it with the opening side away from me and put the velcro tab into the holder (i.e not secured). Easy to slide in the CD sheet and then close with the velcro tab. No need to take off in the start lanes. Agree the thumb or finger loop is superflous, but I haven't found the L size of holder without one - maybe they've all been bought by the time I get there!

Doh! Hadn't thought of that!

I prefer an MP3 player.

Are you sure you're not really Steve Coogan?

He stole my name and all my best humour, leaving me with the stuff you get here.

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts. I'm leaning towards getting the 2 strap one but will see if I can try on the different styles just to be sure.
