There don't seem to be any M65s who have only done the last event in the latest list, Eddie.

Apologies for the bizarre state of the tables earlier this evening: 'Fast Eddie' jumped the gun and uploaded files containing averages before the coding on the site was ready to accept them.
Some further database mods mean that fractional points are now displayed properly rather than suppressed (my fault).

Thanks Eddie and Roger; despite doing a maths degree, my agility at mental arithmetic has never been brilliant and I was struggling to see how I was getting on. Note that if you have more than eight scores the average is of your top eight, so those lower down the table can see their target.

Re: UK Masters Cup 2011
I can see the relevance of average if you have <8 scores.
However, if you have >8 surely your opportunity to improve is determined by how far your worst-counting score is below what you might consider to be your normal running rate.
.. but let's not get into SD and distribution profiles.....

My triumphant 51st position in BOC (M55L) seems to have been missed out on the Masters Cup and BOF ranking list - who do I contact (I noted my rival Crawford had been missed out too - he did finish I know)

Sorry Freefall, 51st gets no points in the urban league - you needed to run 30 seconds faster to get in with half a point, or 31 seconds for a full point
At least you won your battle with Crawford

Can't see, for example, Andy Tivendale and Jack Hutchison who only did the British Long, or is it just my machine?

Jack has been out of the sport for 11 months with cancer.
This was only his 2nd run since his recovery. An amazing result - he says he can't run yet!!

Sorry Gnitworp, I didn't read your post carefully enough. They are in now and should also get on the BOF site soon.

Re: UK Masters Cup 2011
After returning from a brilliant Lakeland weekend at about 11 p.m. I have sent the updated tables to BOF. So far only M35 to 50 have successfully uploaded onto Roger's site, so you'll have to wait a bit longer for the rest there.

I've fixed Eddie's M60-M80 file and re-processed it, but M55 and all the women will have to await action from Eddie.

Re: UK Masters Cup 2011
Thanks to Roger they are finally all there
M50 - 60 are all really interestingly poised. Although John Britton managed another win in his full house of masters cup events, both Mike Smithard and Steve Whitehead have the wins in place to pip him to the post if they perform well in the future.
Likewise W 50 and 55 are both interestingly poised with the race wins well spread about.
