anyone likely to have FA cup Final updates from 3 onwards? (we all presume Utd will get the point they require at Blackburn). I will hopefully have finished my run by half-time.

I can see a pair out of the window as I write. Patchy distribution though (ove 20 soaring above us at the Southerns earlier this year - fabulous sight).

Buzzards are quite rare round here, but saw a sparrowhawk in the hedge opposite my mother-in-law's only a couple of days ago.

Since when did Buzzards become rare? If I don't see or hear 3 or 4 a day I think there is something wrong.

The M50L class result is subject to a protest, but we hope to resolve that by tomorrow.

Fantastic Weekend. Courses were excellent, even though my navigation failed at times.
I was amazed at how much Neil got out of the Relay Area. I find it hard to believe that I had previously done night events on it, failed the first 2 controls and then slowed down....

Superb courses. Certainly separated the wheat from the chaff.

Yes an excellent weekend - I thought the relay area was extraordinary and my biggest mistake was assuming the second part would be easier than the first

Great weekend - I loved the spectator control at the relays - as well as the fact that spectators could see competitors struggle uphill to the final control. The courses and organisation were both fantastic. Thanks!

Is there any partiuclar reason why course 13 (M45L) had a different last control to everyone else? I was merely scrolling through in an attempt to rebuild Young Neville's damaged pride after the track debacle by re-assuring him he had recorded the fastest run in and now I'm not sure I can given this anomaly

M45L did have the same last control (100) Don't know why it isn't shown in the splits. My printout on the day also seemed to blank that I had visited 100.

Great weekend. I really enjoyed the Relay today - excellent planning on some fantastic terrain for head-to-head racing. I'm not sure "enjoy" is the correct word for my two-and-a-half-hour epic on Saturday , but it was also a good (and challenging!) course.
